In this new age of technology, a lot has spawned out of the networking era. Its advances have led many people to question which gadget is more important and needed in our daily lives. With the emergence of the communication protocols, the implication of having a device, which would unite all of these into one universal standard, has led to the innovation of the Bluetooth. Although some might argue that having a bluetooth gadget isn’t really necessary, is having one such as a popular wireless headset essential and really worth the price?
While the bluetooth operates as a wireless exchange of data, the combination of this with a headphone and microphone resulted to a wireless bluetooth headset. Its basic function includes a hands-free communication usually within 100 meters of data transmission from one device to another. Although this is the bluetooth headset’s initial feature, one must look further to be able to maximize its given basic function. Bluetooth headsets should be able to reduce ambient noise from surrounding sound. In addition to that, having a noise suppression characteristic would make a good sound quality. This would allow you to improve conversations especially when you are on the road or outdoors. Other than the technical side, it should grace you with style and comfort. Having a slick bluetooth headset is ineffective if it is loose or does not fit well in your ears.
The price range of the bluetooth headsets usually fall from as low as 7 to 100 dollars. Brands would be the defining factor in this wide disparity. China bluetooth headsets can be ordered in bulk or wholesale, so normally it would be sold in the cheapest price ever. For a general rule, the cheaper the product, the less quality you can get out of it. However, some gadget analysts would clarify such misconceptions. An example of which is the Cardo Scala 500, which is priced at $38 sometimes with shipping. It has great Internet reviews mostly about the clear sound quality both incoming and outgoing. It also has numerous features such as mute, end, answer, redial, which make it more interesting. Other bluetooth headsets have the tendency to drop and disconnect calls randomly, so better research well on these brands as there are so many! Last June 2007, Apple supported the Jawbone Bluetooth Headset, which has a high cost of $120. It is designed with a noise-canceling technology that built a great stand on performance, garnering CNET website’s highest rated bluetooth headsets recognition, not mentioning its very polished form.
In general, bluetooth headsets make one’s life convenient, more productive, and safer. Using hands free communication would actually help you to multi-task without the hassle of cable wires and setting up devices to keep in touch with your loved ones or business partners. It helps you manage your calls, wire free - free from hazardous connections. It can also act as a tool for listening to your favorite music from your phone or PC, just by pressing a button in the earpiece. Its downside would have to include the noticeable drop down in standby and talk time when the battery wavers in time. In terms of data transfer, it is slower than the infrared having 4MBps compared to 1MBps. With regards to security, it has a greater range of frequency, which is susceptible to interception. Given its pros and cons and price range, it is now up to you to determine if bluetooth headset can fit in your lifestyle during this industrial age of technological boom where everyone is in need of constant communication.
